2 ½ hours from Albany: Take exit 23 (Warrensburg) off I-87. Follow Rte. 28 to Raquette Lake. 2 hours from Lake Placid through the scenic Adirondacks: Lake Placid to Saranac Lake to Tupper Lake to Long Lake to Blue Mountain Lake to Raquette Lake 1 ½ hours from Utica: Take Rte. 12 north to Rte. 28. Follow Rte. 28 to Raquette Lake.
