We visited Bishop's Palace in December 2004 and it was very enjoyable. If you like to tour old homes, then you would definitely enjoy this. i purchased the "broadway beauties" tour package in galveston for $15 - it included a tour of ashton villa, the moody mansion, and the bishop's palace. the ashton villa tour i found the most intriguing, but the bishop's palace was by far my favorite structure. it's one of the most beautiful build... A must see!!!

Out of everything we did for our weekend in Galveston, The Bishops Palace was by far the best and cheapest. It was so beautiful and the tour guides did a great job of explaining the history of the home. Most of the furnishings are original.
