I've been on a tour of the Governor's mansion twice and it's just beautiful! 15-20 years ago the Christmas tree caught on fire and did some damage to the interior but they went to great lengths to fix it up and restored it to it's original glory. It is a such a great place to shop! I can always find what I am looking for. If I need a wedding gift this is 1st on my list to shop. The Window Box always has something for me. I recommend making a reservation so that you don't have to wait in line and to ensure that you are even able to hike. Cave tours are scheduled and they give you about one hour to reach it; there is a limit to how many people can fit in the cave. Go early!
