Awesome view and snow inMay
We visited Cedar Breaks in the middle of May, 2006. I had researched our Utah adventure enough to know that the trails at Cedar Breaks are only along the rim, unlike Bryce which we had already visited. (Bryce is another must do if you're in the area!) We were staying in St. George so it was only a short drive up to Cedar Breaks. We got there early, around 10:30. Stunning overlook from the road

Directions
Visitors traveling south on I-15, exit at Parowan, then take Utah Highway 143 east, to Cedar Breaks National Monument. Visitors traveling north on I-15, exit at Cedar City, then take Utah Highway 14 east for 18 miles, then Utah Highway 148 north for 4 mil
Hours
From early June to mid-October, the visitor center is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..
