A serene and beautiful place

I wanted to take my partner to a beautiful garden while we were on vacation in DC. I am so glad that I found this place right here on Tripadvisor. Visiting this place is a very unique and special experience. It doesn't require that you be Catholic to enjoy it or be touched by it's beauty or it's serenity. The grounds are beautiful. "Holy Land" in D.C.

There are replicas of the Holy Land at this Monastery (also known as Mount St Sepulchre). The replicas include the Nativity Grotto in Bethlehem and the tomb of Christ in Jerusalem. Way Off the Beaten Path

The Monastery's full scale replica's of holy land shrines and especially it's full scale replica of the Lourdes Grotto I found inspring and even religious.
