Home of the late Captain Frederick Pabst, the world famous founder of Pabst beer. As if stepping back into the gilded age of the 1890s, you'll find striking interiors, original furnishings, stained glass, fine wood craftsmanship, intricate ironwork, and more. The mansion is open to the public year round and offers both general admission and group tours.

When the wrecker was in the front yard, ready to demolish, they finally were able to gain enough money through loans from every bank in Milwaukee and saved the mansion, preserving splendor and turn of the century wonder. more on Yahoo! Travel
