City puts on several free concerts in the park near the Depot. more on Yahoo! Travel

Once there, you will find quaint shops, art displays etc. We even lucked up by finding a free park concert on Sunday night! more on Yahoo! Travel

We had just spent 2 nights in New Orleans and this was such a pleasent change, friendly people, wonderful reasonable food, and a B %B just north of town that was so peaceful we didn't want to leave. more on Yahoo! Travel

Lovely antique shops - good prices great finds! Museums, athough small have good value. The art galleries are very nice - Slidell Culture Ctr. has great exhibits as does the Art League which is located in the refurbished train station. ... more on Yahoo! Travel
