Really picturesque place to stay.

Being I'd never been to plantation before this was really big and old fashioned. We stayed in room one - Cornelia's bedroom, it had a large four poster bed, high ceilings and all in all the room was really quite large. Beyond expectation!

My two nieces and I visited Nottoway over the Christmas holidays. The entire place really put one in a holiday mood. The decorations were just beautiful. great experience

somewhat pricey but worth the experience. my wife and i have stayed at several plantations and this is by far the nicest. you have choices of several different rooms to stay in. my advice is pay extra and stay in the mansion itself (rather than in one of the several outside rooms) the atmosphere ... Very Faded Glory/A Picture of Decline

We had a weekend stay at Nottoway in Feb '06. This place has seen better days. Pretty much everything was badly in need of updating/maintenance. The food in the dining room had the same taste and appearance as a frozen dinner. One poor lady tried her best to serve and cook breakfast single handed...
