A wildlife retreat close to Baltimore and Washington D.C.

If you want a quiet and beautiful place to take a peaceful walk in the woods, this may be your place. The National Wildlife Visitors Center is situated by two lakes, Cash and Redington. The views from the center are stunning. The center itself is manned by volunteers who will gladly tell you about the Patuxent Research Refuge ... LOTRfan, a user of Tripadvisor.
