1.0: Dirty beach, not worth the trip for swimming

I went to Salisbury beach with a friend a couple of years ago on a hot summer day looking forward to taking a cool dip to beat the heat. I had been there once prior around 1980 and remember it being a decent beach. It is north of Boston and only a short drive from southern New Hampshire.
