Lutsen: A Very Special Place(Mar 21, 2007)
I've skied every state in the West except Hawaii, as well as Canada and much of the Midwest and East. Lutsen is special. The scenery is spectacular. Moose Mountain, Mystery Mountain, Eagle Mountain -- western skiers wouldn't call them mountains, but they are magnificent nonetheless....

We skied Lutsen Spring Break 2006. Some positives: decent terrain, not crowded midweek, ample accommodations (Caribou Highlands Lodges), hills are small so kids will not disappear. Drawbacks: high cost when you consider hours of 9:30-4:30, short runs...
