Out-of-this-world experience

True, this attraction may be the only one of its kind in the country, but the $15 admission is still too expensive just to see a huge crater. Fun for all ages!

My family, including my 8 year old son and my 3 year old daughter, was surprised at how much we enjoyed the meteor crater and its museum. The kids sat through the informational movie, but the thing they enjoyed the most was climbing around the rim of the crater itself! They liked looking from the... On the way back from visiting the Petrified Forest near Holbrook, AZ, we saw signs for the Meteor Crater near Winslow, so decided to check it out. My husband and I recently returned from our vacation to Arizona. One of our stops was Meteor Crater which we found very interesting.
