This gorgeous and unusual nonprofit museum and zoo treats guests to up-close encounters with wildlife in a highly naturalistic setting. With nearly two miles of paths, this is one museum that requires quite a bit of walking. The hard work will be rewarded by sightings of lemurs, mountain lions, parrots, snakes, and many more. The primary focus of the museum is animals that might naturally live in the area if humans weren't so prevalent, but there are also rainforest and mountain animals here. Ranger-led tours and presentations are a special treat for all ages.
