The La Brea Tarpits are naturally occurring ponds of sticky black tar that have preserved bones and remains from the Ice Age. Enjoy a walk through the park where Saber Toothed Tigers and Wooly Mammoths met their end, as well as an informative museum with casts and dioramas.
