Directions

Located on Middlefield Road, which runs parallel to Highway 101 and El Camino Real. From 101, exit Embarcadero heading west. Turn right at Middlefield Road. Museum and parking will be on your right.

Hours

Hours: Closed Monday Tuesday-Saturday Museum: 10:00 a.m.- 5p.m. Zoo: 10:00 a.m.- 5p.m. (Please note that we start putting the animals to bed at 4:30 PM) Sunday - Museum and Zoo: 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Miscellaneous

  • Admission: Free. Donations accepted and appreciated. Groups of 10 or more: Please call 329-2111 to make a reservation.
  • Educational Program: The zoo has a science outreach program for local schools.
  • Events: Check the web site for events.
