This museum actually holds some interest for nonsurfers, thanks to its atmospheric location in he Mark Abbott Memorial Lighthouse on a pretty coastal stretch. Surf-history fans can check out the small but appealing collection of old photos, vintage boards, and local surf history, while others watch the sea-lion colony and the surfers outside" (The Unofficial Guide to California with Kids).
