Closed without warning
We planned a day trip to Boulder and drove 2 hrs to get there. I had been to NCAR's Website - they are open every day of the year for tours - even Christmas! You can go on a self-guided tour or take a guided tour at 12noon. We planned our trip to make it there at 12noon. We actually arrived early... nowincolorado, a user of Tripadvisor. Building is great, center is disappointing
My family of four (two teenagers) visited NCAR because of our mutual interest in science. Ironically, we were far more fascinated by the building, than the science. The building was designed by I.M. Directions
Follow US 25 North of Denver, take left lane exit to US 36N. From US 36, exit at Foothills Pkwy/S. Boulder Rd. Curve right at exit towards S. Boulder Rd. Turn left (west) at light onto S. Boulder Rd. In one mile, S. Boulder Rd becomes Table Mesa Dr. Conti
