The Castle Rock Museum and Paleo Rainforest is extremely special for the look it gives into the incredibly ancient past. At one point, some 64.1 million years ago, the area around Castle Rock was a rainforest. What remains today is a vast selection of fossils that give a fascinating view into the evolution of the area now known as Colorado.
