Take I-70 west to exit 256 (marked Buffalo Bill Grave), then follow the signs. Or take 6th Avenue West to Golden and turn left onto the Lariat Trail (19th Street). Follow the scenic winding road to the top of the mountain.

Museum: 9am-5pm daily, May-Oct; 9am-4pm daily, Nov-Apr, May-Oct, Daily 9am-5pm; Nov-Apr, Tue-Sun 9am-4pm

Admission : $3 for adults, $2 for seniors over 65, $1 for children 6 to 15, under 6 years are free. -- May 1 - October 31: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (7 days a week) --- November 1 - April 30: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m (Closed Mondays and Christmas Day)
