Be sure and take the free shuttle that runs between the northern and southern sections of the seaport for a good view of the lighthouse from the water. more on LighthouseFriends.com

My ten year old is very interested in history and especially liked the map quest activity-which was free for the asking, and earned her a prize. more on TripAdvisor
