More than we expected.
Afte passing trough the somewhat pedestrian entry/gift shop, we were stunned by the beauty of the three story Rotunda of the Mansion. Two balconies surround the sight, leading into authenically furnished rooms and others waiting to be renovated.

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion is indeed a treasure in Connecticut's Crown! The museum, currently being restored is a 60 room Summer and weekend home in a very grand style, filled with inlaid wood and frescoed walls, the building will WoW you!
