An archery and bow-hunting Mecca, the Fred Bear Museum showcases the history of bow-hunting and archery in the United States. Bear, who founded the Bear Archery Factory, was a pioneer in modern bow construction, including the use of fiberglass. Bear’s collection of trophies grew until it was determined that his legacy could best be served by opening his collection of archery and animal trophy artifacts to the public.
