The Gold Coast Railroad Museum is an exciting destination with a variety of attractions for railroad enthusiasts, history buffs, children and those looking to experience some of Miami by caboose ride. The Museum offers a handful of fully integrated railroad cars which function as exhibition centers, as well as special events and displays.

They love to play with the huge Thomas train collection, look at the awesome model trains, go on the old trains and pretend we go back in time! more on GoCityKids

Miami being pretty warm all year round we were worried that it might be too hot, but in fact, there was a great breeze and it was very nice. more on Yahoo! Travel

He informed me that I didn't have to worry about even the ridiculously low admission charge because today was the first Saturday of the month when admission was free. more on TripAdvisor

My husband and daughter and I went for the Thomas the Train event in mid March and we had a wonderful time. The museum is located down the same driveway that leads to Miami Metro Zoo and we noticed it when we went to the zoo in January.
