Nice But Not Great
I took my soon to be 8 yr old daughter there in Sept. 2006 and she liked it well enough. I would not recommend this place for child under 4 simply because it's not stroller accessible. Great for train fans, young and old
We have been going to the train museum for a couple of years now, and my son (age 5) asks for it frequently. They are only open in limited amounts, and it's not a great place to be in cold or hot weather due to too much time spent outdoors. The train ride (free with entrance ticket) is exciting i... Directions
From Downtown: Take I-75/85N to Pleasant Hill Road (Exit 104). Turn west past Gwinnett Place Mall. Travel 3 miles and turn right on Buford Highway. The museum is on the left, approximately 1/4 mile north of Pleasant Hill Road.
