Nice But Not Great

I took my soon to be 8 yr old daughter there in Sept. 2006 and she liked it well enough. I would not recommend this place for child under 4 simply because it's not stroller accessible. You have to climb in and out of these trains and you need to be able to navigate some narrow ones. Even a very young 4 might have issues. There is one building housing 2 very old trains, ... From Downtown: Take I-75/85N to Pleasant Hill Road (Exit 104). Turn west past Gwinnett Place Mall. Travel 3 miles and turn right on Buford Highway. The museum is on the left, approximately 1/4 mile north of Pleasant Hill Road.
