Love to Hate the Fair

When married, we 'had' to go to the fair every year. To me, it's the same thing every single year, with one exception. There's always something on a stick that's new each year -- yep, you guessed it -- it's always something to eat.

Average state fair

At this time (August 15, 2005) there are practically no hotels near the fairgrounds. Moreover, there is no city wide bus service on Sundays which would connect you to the route that would take you to the fairgrounds, although there is a shuttle service from such destinations as the state house an...
