The Detroit Science Center hosts traveling exhibits from all over the world. The Center also has a number of permanent programs sponsored by industry which illustrate concepts such as nanotechnology and chemistry. The Center also hosts birthday parties and can be reserved for special events.

They had lots of parking right beside the detroit science center. more on Yahoo! Travel

I do know though, you have a lot more to do, that will cost more money. more on GoCityKids

They do have a good IMAX theatre and planetarium though. more on Yahoo! Travel

We can go to both places and still beat your price and have as much fun. more on GoCityKids

The New Detroit Science Center looks great from the outside, but on the inside, it falls just a bit short. It has a nice bright interior, but there's not much fun stuff to do. It's only a few floors tall and each floor only has one ... more on Yahoo! Travel
