Soringfield has long been a draw to watercolorists from all over the nation, and for almost 50 years the Springfield Art Museum has hosted the annual Watercolor USA, one of the most important artistic shows in the nation. If you happen to be in town during the exhibition - June and July - make it a priority to stop by the museum. Otherwise, the Springfield Art Museum is always a good bet what with its excellent permanent collection.
