housed in the now defunct US Mint, CC, there are well presented, if small, exhibits on interesting Nevada history, heavy on pre-historical archeological times, and early American Indian life. more on GeckoGo

Seems like you have to be at least 60 to get in here-but-I started when I was about 30-so-I guess they do not care: Everyone is very nice-the hotel is a bit of a walk but Carson City is a small town and you really feel that. more on Yahoo! Travel

The variety of exhibits (mining, geology, natural history, and Nevada history) kept everyone entertained. more on TripAdvisor
