Trenton's Old Barracks were one of five U.S. barracks housing prisoners during the French and Indian War, and the only freestanding barracks to have survived. Used as a hospital during the American Revolution, the Barracks were once Trenton's largest building....The Barracks are now an educational center for Colonial and American history, favored by grade school classes and historians. Inside is a display of period furniture and artifacts from the 18th century" (Moon Handbooks).
