The Charlotte Nature Museum has live animals and the extremely popular butterfly pavilion - who doesn't like to scamper through a room with a thousand butterflies? This is also the home of Charlotte's Discovery Place, an interactive museum with a real live rain forest visitors can explore on foot as well as an IMAX theater and more. Admission costs $7.50 for children and $8.50 for adults.
