It is properbly most interesting for members of AA.

Having said that, the spirit there are wonderfull and the volunteers are so kind. You really feel like coming Home:-)

WENT TO MY FIRST FOUNDERS DAY THIS YEAR (2006) AND WHEN I GOT OFF THE SHUTTLE AT DR.BOB'S HOUSE AND LOOKED UP AND SAW THE BANNER, "WELCOME HOME", I WAS OVERWHELMED WITH EMOTION. This experience was an interesting paradox to behold. AA is a 'find God & sober up' organization whose members council each other "not to put other people on pedestals," yet here the deification of the secondary founder is almost complete. Dr. Bob's Home and the annex next to it are far more than monuments or memorials or inspirational retreats.
