Known as the Museum of the Americas, Tulsa's Gilcrease Museum features one of the country's largest collections of Native American and Western jewelry and art. There are also several thematic gardens that are designed to emulate gardening styles of different time periods.

Apart from being the preeminent repository of American Western art, the museum is situated on a high elevation in the SW corner of the Osage Indian Resrvation (Founder, Thomas Gilcrease was a Creek Indian), with breathtaking views of the land. more on Yahoo! Travel
