Not too far up the street on Atocha from Plaza Mayor is a great cafe called Peter Pan, great food to nibble on and zumo or orange juice that's just as great as the food. more on Yahoo! Travel

Like at night you just see people dancing,singing,and mostly shoping.i had a great time in madrid even at the plaza mayor. more on Yahoo! Travel
