Interesting for awhile.

Spent a week in Memphis in Aug. 06. We went to Beale street every day because it was close to our hotel. There are lots of good places to eat. Good Time

I'm from south Louisiana, so I was expecting a French Quarter-type experience on Beale. It's not. We did go in late Dec., so a lot of places were pretty slow, and there were not a lot of crowds in the area (a big plus for us). A sight you should see.

Beale street is a sight you should see. The nightly blues music from amatures to professionals in the park is awesome. There is also plenty of police and security at all times including the weekends.
