Not everything it use to be

I had a friend come in town from Baton Rouge for a weekend and decided one of the places I would take her to was Mud Island so can see the Mississippi River from another view point. I enjoyed the visit to Mud Island overall. The view was wonderful and the riverwalk was a hit with the kids. I did find the monorail and the museum to be a little pricey although I did enjoy both. We travel extensively throughout the US and love to go to local history museums and this is one of the most well done museums we have been to. The model of the Mississippi River is worth the price of admission. However, that part is free. The admission cost is for the museum and it is very, very ... i love mud island. i am from memphis and it is a fun and interesting as well as relaxing place to visit. i love riding the monorail and walking across also. my kids love it too. the museum is interesting and different from the pink palace which makes it good for people. my kids like to wade throu...
