I was in Galveston on business when I decided to drop in the Lone Star Flight Museum. What a great place! Well Worth A Look

This Museum has a TON of WWII Planes and other era planes, it's a very big and you can see people working on the planes while walking around, have been going on every trip to Galveston Island State Park. Directions

Located next to Moody Gardens at the Galveston International Airport.From Houston, take I45 to 61st Street, turn right onto Seawall Boulevard, turn right onto 83rd Street. This leads directly to the Lone Star Flight Museum parking area.
