China's Forbidden City in Katy
This is the only replica of the Forbidden City and Terra Cotta soliders outside of China . On the up side, the replicas were pretty cool, I enjoyed the weapons room, and the tour talk had lots of interesting info. Great for fun and education!
We visited Forbidden Gardens a little hesitantly, wondering if the kids would enjoy themselves or if they would be so bored we had to leave so they didn't make a scene. From Houston, take I-10 west. Take exit number 743 at the Grand Parkway, Highway 99. Turn right (north) onto the Grand Parkway until it dead ends. Turn left onto Franz road and immediately turn right into the Forbidden Gardens parking lot.
