great place for history buffs

This is a very out of the way museum, especially hard to find when every sidewalk around the capital area is closed for renovations. But once you are inside, it is very well done. An Amazing Collection

I was blown away by the items on display at the Museum of the Confederacy. You can see the dress uniform and sword Gen. Robert E. Lee wore at Appomattox. You can see the sword that Gen. Amazing

The Museum and the White House are located adjacent to each other on Clay Street in Downtown Richmond. It is very hard to find and parking is a total pain.
