There is a restaurant on site, but if you're making the day both affordable and fun they have picnic tables available near the main buildings. more on TripAdvisor

The staff /volunteers were very good at explaining what they were doing--soap making, sauerkraut, teaching school, blacksmithing, etc. We were fortunate to have good weather (almost too warm for October). more on TripAdvisor

The trolley is a huge help in getting around, it is too far to walk it all. more on TripAdvisor
