The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is housed in an outstanding facility built especially for the museum in the 1980s on the Manitowoc River near the Inn on Maritime Bay. more on igougo

The experience is breathtaking, and will leave lasting memories. more on TripAdvisor

It has a gallery dedicated to Wisconsin-built recreational boats, hands-on activities in the Children's Waterway Room and Little Lakefarer's Room, and a w more on igougo

The rest of the museum is interesting enough, with various exhibits on shipbuilding, an interactive fishing activity, and some other points of interest, but the Sub is the real draw. more on TripAdvisor
