Beautiful scenery, animals
Pt Lobos is great - both above the water and underneath! The cost to park inside the park is $9. But there is quite a bit of parking available along the road before you enter, and you can walk in and get a map for $1.00. Or for those older than $62, you can get in for $5. The most beautiful coastline on earth!
This reserve is a must see for anyone in the Monterey area. Bring a picnic lunch and get there in the morning to be able to park in the reserve. It's AMAZINGLY gorgeous!

Directions
The reserve is located on the central coast of California in Monterey County. The entrance is located three miles south of Carmel on Highway 1.
Hours
Day use area. During days of long summer daylight, closing time is extended and is posted at the entrance.
