six thousand acres and 7 miles of coastline, with long, sandy beaches, rich tidepools, rugged cliffs, sunny meadows, and hiking and biking trails...no collecting is allowed... more on Amazon.com

What we liked best about this place were the absolutely spectacular views! more on TripAdvisor

We had pre-reserved a site online and when we checked in, we were greeted by a friendly female park ranger who told us to drive around and come back with our site of preference. more on TripAdvisor

Make sure that you know when the tide is out, in order to fully enjoy the tidal pools. more on TripAdvisor

There was a shallow freshwater stream that was warm to wade in, but the ocean itself was too cold, there was too much seaweed, and there was too much of a strong current for it to be safe to swimmore on TripAdvisor
