My family stayed here last 2 summers ago, 2002, and just loved this place. They have a separate area for tent people like us, so you don't get overwhelmed by the RV's. 1.0: extreme highway noise

We were very excited about our trip to stay in a Yurt at Ridgeway but it turned out to be an extreme disappointment. The park has beautiful views but it is right off the highway. I will admit that when I saw the first campground near the resovoir I was a bit worried as we like the woods. I could not have been more thrilled when we climbed the steep hill to our campsite in the Elk Ridge Campground. There are four loops and the outer loops have incredible views.
