Great Place

We spent the week after Christmas here for many years. Occasionally it looked like a winter wonderland and you can expect to get some serious fog during that time of the year so driving can be dangerous. CAMPING Oct 9-11 2006

Nice state park. Caught zero fish saw no a fish. Paddles boats were fun, clean and pretty lake. Camped in the walk in area since everything was busy for the Oct month. Good place to camp

We went up the 75/ 411 way on way back to Ellijay......... Coming from Chattsworth was like wow. You see this big mtn right beside the town, the drive up be careful..... the park was nice, we tried paddle boats, we tried to fish no luck. We did a few short hikes.. top of the mountain, top of the line

Our favorite camping spot

I loved this park, because it's so far removed from any noise and the views are beautiful. We were very happy with all the different activites and were especially happy with how clean and well maintained the park is. Most state parks have drawbacks, but I can't think of one here.
