Experience of a Lifetime

After a late afternoon drive into Waimea Canyon, my wife and I decided to drive out to Polihale State Park to watch the sunset. The experience that followed will go down as one of the wildest vacation stories of my life. First of all, the drive out to the entrance to the park takes forever, and the map doesnt really seem to scale. When we arrived at the entrance, a sense of foreboding ensued.
