- IMPORTANT INFORMATION: REOPENING OF SPRING/SUMMER 2007 INVENTORY AT NICKERSON STATE PARK February 2007: MA DCR announced a reopening of 2007 inventory in Areas 1 through 5 at Nickerson. A capital improvement project at Nickerson has been rescheduled; as a result dates of May 1 through June 28, 2007 will reopen for advance reservations. To promote equal access to this popular park; all of the dates to reopen will be available beginning on the same date. Dates of May 1 through June 28, 2007 in Areas 1 through 5 at Nickerson will reopen on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at 8:00 am EST. Reservations may be made by calling 1 (877) 422 6762 or visiting www.reserveamerica.com on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at 8:00 am EST.
