Unforgetable

This is the place that made my wife and I national park lovers. It was a day trip to get away from Vegas and every moment of the drive out there was amazing! The views were unbelievable. I agree with the other reviewers about the variety here. Yes, you can go see the lowest spot in the continent, but there is much more -- wonderful sand dunes, Scotty's Castle (which looks like Errol Flynn should pop out any moment), the gorgeous Artist's Loop drive, the enjoyable strolls through... Great views, poor food

Visited during wildflower season. Pay attention to rainfall in D.V. during the fall and winter. If not above average do not expect an abundance of flowers.
