A Great Place to Spend the Day While Learning About Science

In March of 2005 we visited Liberty Science Center. Six hours later we could not believe it was already 3:30 p.m. We arrived at 9:30 when they opened, as advised, and were able to experience all of the "hot spots" without the crowds that later flooded the museum. Liberty State Park; Not to be missed!

Liberty Science Center is worth a visit

This is a huge science museum that my kids love, esp. the IMAX theater which they say is the largest in the US. It's in Liberty State Park, and you can take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island right from the park without having to go into Manhattan. Also, if you park at the scienc...
