A first rate state park...would stay there next time...

We took a whirlwind tour of South Dakota and Wyoming this summer, and spent an afternoon driving through Custer State Park so that we could see the bison. Nice scenic drive

Wonderful

We were in Custer, SD in mid October this year. The fall colors were just a bit past prime, but we enjoyed them. The days were sunny and caused the fall colors to be great for pictures. Nature at its best

You can see it in a day - to enjoy it takes at least two days. The park is more than the prairie area with all the animals. It is also the southern Black Hills area with wonderful lakes and spectacular views.
