Take your time

My husband and I climbed the rock, I would recommend you take the longer route if you are older or not in shape, The View was beautiful from the top. We were in a hurry so we took the shortest route. Enchanted Rock is a sight to behold! And it offers good proof that there are indeed hills in Texas (most folks don't realize that). My husband and I (in our mid-50s) took the Summit Trail and weren't sure if we would be able to make it to the top, but we did! Nice but nothing spectacular

We camped two nights at Enchanted Rock State Park. The faciliites were clean and modern, and we saw plenty of dear. The hike to the top was fairly quick and easy, and is well worth the effort for the great views. However, I was a little underwhelmed by the rock. I guess ... Amazing Experience!

My husband and I went to climb the rock on our anniversary. We have never done anything like this before. I am 29 and he is 31 and in decent shape.
